Responsible for completion and oversight of all financial areas
related to inventory for the organization.
Oversee all financial processes related to inventory across
Analyze, manage, and review monthly and quarterly slow-moving
inventory calculations for consolidated Lufkin.
Reconcile and or coordinate monthly reconciliation for all
inventory related accounts and provide an overview and explanation
of inventory adjustments
Coordinate with operations to make sure that policies and
procedures regarding inventory are followed
Coordination and oversight of annual standard cost rolls
Prepare monthly bank borrowing base calculation related to
Prepare and/or compile all 3rd party audit details and required
documentation related to inventory
Produce daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly reports, which include
key metrics related to inventory such as DIO and Days turns.
Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger - prepare
monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries as required
Monitoring of cycle count program
Assist with physical inventories as required
Coordinate with 3rd party auditors for required physical inventory
Other duties as required
Required Education & Preferred Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Experience in JD Edwards ERP system a plus
Minimum 2 years of Cost Accounting in a manufacturing
Strong working knowledge of Excel and power point
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving
