Woodlands/Spring Area Construction Industry Experience Preferred A
growing construction firm in the Woodlands/Spring area is seeking a
highly skilled Full-Charge Bookkeeper to take ownership of
day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and payroll operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, values

environment. This is an onsite role with built-in schedule
flexibility for work–life balance. About the Role As the company’s
primary accounting resource, you’ll oversee full-cycle bookkeeping
and ensure accuracy across financial, payroll, and project-related
functions. You’ll work closely with leadership and project managers
to keep financials clean, organized, and transparent. Key
responsibilities include: Full-charge bookkeeping, including AP,
AR, GL, and bank reconciliations Preparing monthly financial
statements and management reports Processing biweekly payroll for
field and office staff Tracking job costs, progress billing, and
project-related expenses Managing AIA billing, lien releases,
waivers, and compliance documentation Supporting budgeting, cash
flow tracking, and vendor management Partnering with leadership on
reporting and process improvements Qualifications We’re looking for
someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced with
construction-related accounting workflows. Required experience:
Strong full-charge bookkeeping background Experience preparing
financial statements Payroll processing experience (field payroll
experience is a plus) Construction industry experience highly
preferred Understanding of job cost accounting, billings, and
project documentation Experience with Sage preferred (Sage 100
Contractor or Sage 300), but will consider QuickBooks Experience
with AIA billing and lien management preferred Strong
organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
