Column Technical Services is hiring an All-Cycle Bookkeeper to join a rapidly growing professional services team! In this dynamic role, you'll partner with a wide range of small business and individual clients, tackling diverse accounting challenges and making a real impact every day. B ased in Sugar Land, TX , this position offers the best of both worlds with a hybrid schedule to collaborate onsite three days a week , then enjoy remote focused work every Thursday and Friday . The Full-Charge bookkeeper will oversee end?to?end accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, bank and credit card reconciliations, accounts payable processing, financial reporting, payroll administration, and preparation of payroll and sales tax submissions. The role also includes light administrative support. The candidates should bring hands-on full-charge bookkeeping experience, proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts. Primary Responsibilities Maintain and update general ledger accounts and record journal entries Reconcile bank statements and credit card activity Oversee accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment execution Track and record incoming and outgoing cash transactions Produce financial statements for assigned clients Administer payroll for multiple clients Prepare and submit payroll and sales tax forms Assist with general administrative duties such as document scanning and client communication Required Qualifications 2 to 5 years of bookkeeping background Working knowledge of QuickBooks and intermediate Excel skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Capable of managing competing deadlines in a high?volume environment Preferred Qualifications QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification Experience using Xero Previous involvement with payroll and sales tax processing Equal Opportunity Column Technical Services is an equal opportunity employer.
