school-based contract position for a skilled Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) is available in Houston, TX, specializing in
telespeech services as well as traditional school settings. This
role focuses on delivering comprehensive speech and language
therapy to students via virtual platforms and in-person sessions.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide individualized speech and language
evaluations and therapy to students using telepractice as well as
direct school-based service delivery. - Develop and implement
treatment plans tailored to each students specific communication
needs. - Collaborate with educators, families, and other
professionals to support student progress. - Maintain accurate
documentation, progress notes, and compliance with school
regulations. - Participate in Individualized Education Program
(IEP) meetings and contribute input regarding speech and language
goals. Qualifications: - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA. - Experience delivering
speech therapy in school settings. - Proficiency in telespeech or
telepractice service delivery. - Strong knowledge of pediatric
communication disorders and educational standards. - Effective
