Job Description:
Our client, an Automation & Engineering Firm, is seeking a Sr
Project Manager Control Systems to join their team. As a Sr Project
Manager Control Systems, you will be part of the Engineering
Department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate
will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication
abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully
in the organization. Job Title: Sr Project Manager Control Systems
Location: Sugar Land, TX Pay Range: $160,000.00 to $180,000.00
Annually What's the Job? Lead and manage control systems
engineering and design projects from inception to completion.
Collaborate with client personnel to ensure successful project
outcomes and maintain regular communication. Oversee instrument
specification development, field instrument installation
requirements, and P&ID development. Ensure compliance with
safety policies and procedures while promoting a culture of safety
within the team. Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers and
designers to meet quality, budget, and schedule objectives. What's
Needed? 10 years of experience in hands-on control systems
engineering along with managing control systems engineering and
design projects. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
work experience in the project field for a small to mid-size
engineering firm. Proficiency in PLC/DCS System platforms such as
DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, and Rockwell. Strong problem-solving
skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Experience with scope, budget, reporting, etc. along with very
strong current hands-on PLC/DCS experience with Honeywell, A/B and
