Job Description:
Job Description Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from
an accredited university or equivalent, with 5 years of experience
in program management. Preferred: Audiovisual (AV) Technology
Management experience. Job Summary: The Program Manager is
accountable for the personnel, operational and financial management
of assigned program(s) that may cross multiple departments and/or
services, to ensure optimal quality, cost, and or service/outcomes.
Job Duties: - Oversees and supervises all business and
administrative activities relating to program operations and
budget. - Provides leadership for the program and promotes
teamwork. - Serves as a liaison between institutional departments
and local area groups to assess need and develop project plans and
budgets. - Leads/participates in collaborative interdepartmental
approaches to develop and enhance an integrated system of care, as
appropriate. - Coordinates all joint operations for the program
with both internal and external sources. Works with other campus
departments to establish collaborative programs. - Assists in
identifying potential funding sources for the program, and
prepares/monitors budgets to ensure services are provided in a
cost-effective manner. - Evaluates services to maintain compliance
with contracts. - Reviews existing contracts for renewal. -
Recommends hiring and termination of all supervised employees. -
Facilitates development of goals, performance standards, and
objectives of the program. - Works with other campus departments to
establish collaborative programs. - Responsible for identifying and
evaluating the need for new equipment, supplies, communication
services, and information services for all areas of the program. -
Initiates implementation plans for new projects and services within
the program. - Adheres to internal controls and reporting
structure. Additional Duties: - Manage, operate, and troubleshoot
AV systems, including cameras, microphones, speakers, streaming
tools, and classroom conferencing technologies. - Coordinate AV
setups for meetings, classes, recordings, simulations, and special
events. - Oversee maintenance, equipment upgrades, and device
lifecycle planning. - Collaborate with IT to ensure system
compatibility, cybersecurity standards, and technical support. -
Maintain inventory of AV and technology equipment, including
tracking, repairs, and replacements. - Train faculty and staff on
AV tools, technology, and best practices.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES - Knowledge of program management
principles, project planning, and workflow development. -
Understanding of organizational operations, budgeting, procurement,
and financial tracking. - Knowledge of strategic planning,
performance measurement, and process improvement methodologies. -
Working knowledge of audiovisual (AV) systems, classroom
technology, event support operations, and equipment maintenance (if
applicable). - Ability to lead teams, manage complex workflows, and
coordinate interdepartmental operations. - Knowledge of stakeholder
engagement practices, customer service standards, and communication
strategies. - Knowledge of compliance requirements, institutional
policies, and documentation standards relevant to the program. -
Familiarity with data reporting, analytics, dashboards, and
evaluation tools. Salary Range: Commensurate with experience. EQUAL
