Job Description Job Description A client of AlphaStaffHCM is
looking for a MEP Electrical Engineer to join their team. This
client is a rapidly growing Texas-based MEP engineering firm with
multiple offices. Job Summary: As an MEP Electrical Engineer, you
will support the design and documentation of electrical systems
that power and operate buildings. You will work under the guidance
of senior engineers and project managers, contributing to
coordinated, high-quality designs. This role offers the opportunity
to gain hands-on project experience, expand your technical skills,
and build a path toward becoming a Professional Engineer. Key
Responsibilities: Assist in the design and documentation of
electrical systems for assigned facilities projects. Create
drawings, specifications, and other design documents in accordance
with company standards. Collaborate with senior engineers and other
disciplines to develop coordinated designs. Participate in internal
design reviews and apply feedback to improve quality and accuracy.
Support QA/QC processes by preparing documents for review. Attend
project meetings and contribute to discussions on design
development and coordination. Maintain proficiency in Revit and
AutoCAD through active project work. Seek mentorship and training
to expand technical knowledge and professional growth. Must Have
Qualifications: 3 years of experience as an electrical engineer
Experience specific to facilities building systems in healthcare,
education, or commercial facilities. Passed the Fundamentals of
Engineering (FE) exam. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD with
hands-on design experience. EIT certification or close to obtaining
Ability to work fully on-site Compensation and Perks: Competitive
salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 based on experience. Half-day
Fridays year-round. 401(k) plan with 3.5% company match.
