health care. We are seeking a Plan Design Manager, with a focus on
Plan Design intent, to join our growing Benefit Product team. In
this position, you will play a key role in enabling the Surest
benefit plans by researching and analyzing new benefit features
partnering with the Clinical, Sales and Operations subject matter
experts to ensure adoption of new benefit standards through the
development, implementation and administration of Surest plan
designs. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from
anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities: Manage Plan Design prefiling review of
Fully Insured plans Define, administer, and maintain standard plan
designs for fully insured product portfolio Research new benefit
features, including regulatory requirements Update standard plan
designs and benefit standards to ensure adherence to state and
federal benefit compliance and contract requirements. Communicate
update in a timely manner Conduct regular review of benefit plans
to maintain compliance with standards and implement updates and
change with Clinical, Product and Operations Respond to escalated
product and benefit inquiries in a timely manner Perform additional
duties as assigned Accurate and precise attention to detail Clear,
concise, engaging and effective written and oral communication

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant
work experience 5 years of product management and benefit
interpretation experience focused on the design, implementation,
and maintenance of fully insured plan designs 5 years of
business/operations experience in a health plan environment and
familiarity with commercial plan design for fully insured Ability
to perform benefit review and interpret state and federal mandates
applicable to benefits, mental health parity, essential health
benefits (EHB), coverage and required product attributes
Demonstrated experience in benefit intent and interpretation
required for commercial health plans Working knowledge in
state-based filings and filing of fully insured commercial products
Solid analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel,

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City, or
Washington residents is $67,800 to $133,100. Pay is based on
several factors including but not limited to education, work
experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary,
