Network Contract Manager role with UnitedHealth Group and you'll be
part of a team that's reshaping how provider networks evolve and
how health care works better for millions. As a Network Contract
Manager within our network contracting team, you'll guide the
development and support of Provider Networks as well as unit cost
management activities through financial and network pricing
modeling, analysis, and reporting. As you do, you'll discover the

supports and contracts for facility and ancillary in the South
Florida Markets. If you are located in state of Florida,you will
have the flexibility to work remotely as you take on some tough
challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Manage unit cost budgets,
target setting, performance reporting and associated financial
models Guide development of the network and negotiate contracts
with facility and ancillary yielding a geographically competitive,
broad access, stable network that achieves objectives for unit cost
performance and trend management and produces an affordable and
predictable product for customers and business partners Evaluate
and negotiate contracts in compliance with company templates,
reimbursement structure standards and other key process controls
Ensure facility and ancillary network composition meets network
adequacy requirements Main point of contact for facility and
ancillary; work cross functionally to facilitate resolution of
issues Coach, provide feedback and guide others If commutable, we
will provide the candidate a hybrid remote/Miramar office work

Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 5
years of experience in a network management-related role, such as
contracting or provider services 5 years of experience in the
health care industry 3 years of experience using financial models
and analysis to negotiate rates with providers Intermediate or
better competency of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel,
PowerPoint) Able and willing to travel up to 25% w/in the state of
FL Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with large
healthcare systems in the State of Florida In-depth knowledge of
Medicare Resource Based Relative Value System (RBRVS), DRGs,
Ambulatory Surgery Center Groupers, etc. Knowledge of Medicare
reimbursement methodologies such as MS-DRG and RBRVS Excellent
verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly
and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in a
manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand
and interpret complex information form others Solid interpersonal
skills, establishing rapport and working well with others Careers
