best work.(sm) The Director of Program Management, Consumer Product
will lead a team who works with various stakeholders within UHC,
Optum and Consumer Engineering to drive execution and ongoing
operations for strategic member facing websites and mobile
applications aligned to the consumer experience across digital
products and lines of business. This leadership position will focus
on ensuring strategic initiatives are received, prioritized,
evolved into roadmaps and will be a champion for the digital
consumer experience leading decision-making dialogue with a fact
based, data driven foundation. The focus of the Director of Program
Management will be to understand and articulate our consumer and
stakeholder needs, build relationships, validate value, usability,
feasibility, and business viability, communicate priorities, and
drive successful execution of strategic initiatives in a matrixed
environment. This business-critical role serves as the champion for
Consumer Product portfolio of work, developing new standards and
product best practices, and serves as a point of escalation for
complex cross-functional prioritization challenges. This leadership
role will drive employee engagement and provide coaching, and
direction as needed to drive successful outcomes. You'll enjoy the
flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you
take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Lead a
team of product managers who are responsible for organizing and
prioritizing new and ongoing digital work requests for the larger
Consumer Product Organization Focused on ensuring initiatives have
measurable value, usability, are feasible to build and ensure
stakeholders support it. Confirmation of business value aligned to
digital initiatives, stakeholder communications and delivery of
digital value proposition communications to various executive level
stakeholders Build relationships with key stakeholders representing
digital teams and assets Keep stakeholders informed of status and
manage risk to move initiatives forward Work with stakeholders to
identify the value of digital requests, using data to forecast
performance technology needs Represent stakeholder needs to
business partners for prioritization, planning, and strategic
direction of products Lead and assist in the removal of hurdles
which could negatively impact productivity, project timelines,
performance, or the customer experience aligned to digital assets
Lead and manage direct resources and indirect resources in a
matrixed environment, that support digital assets and projects

Qualifications: 5 years of experience working in the digital space
5 years of experience working on in a product focused organization
3 years of experience leading/managing product managers Experience
working with senior leaders, managing expectations and delivery
dates Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprising
product managers, project managers, marketers, and engineering
Proven results-oriented individual with solid influencing, problem
solving and negotiation skills Demonstrated user-centric
experiences with positive impacts to engagement and KPIs Ability to
travel about 10% Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Aha, CA
Rally, and Workfront Reporting and Analytics proficiency Proven
ability to prioritize competing work requests Proven detail
oriented Proven solid ability to absorb and make sense of data to
direct decision making Proven ability to turn complicated inputs
into a clear, communicable vision Proven outstanding communication

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City, or
Washington residents is $118,000 to $226,800. Pay is based on
several factors including but not limited to education, work
experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary,
