as the Regional Director of Clinical Operations. In this role, you
will ensure that assigned communities receive regional oversight of
quality improvement activities, focusing on wellness, clinical
management, medication management, risk management, associate
training, education, associate performance, and survey
preparedness. You will also provide training and mentoring to
Directors of Clinical and Resident Care Specialists to ensure
optimal performance and adherence to standards and

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure assigned communities achieve optimal clinical
performance through collaborative team management.
- Promote positive motivation, identify clinical problems and/or
deficiencies, assist in developing action plans, educate
associates, and implement solutions to issues.
- Provide training and mentoring to Directors of Clinical and
Resident Care Specialists to enhance their clinical skills and
knowledge.
- Ensure prompt adherence to clinical standards and policies,
with education provided to communities on new standards and
policies.
- Utilize clinical management expertise to support communities in
providing resident care.
- Serve as interim Director of Resident Care (DRC) in communities
where a vacancy exists.
- Support DRC/Assistant Director of Resident Care (ADRC) and/or
Executive Director (ED) with constant communication and clinical
training initiatives if identified.
- Provide onboarding and ongoing clinical training for DRC, ADRC,
and ED, as well as other disciplines as indicated.
- Utilize effective communication skills with a focus on positive
clinical outcomes.
- Collaborate with home office team members to achieve and
maintain clinical goals.
- Manage at-risk residents for move-out management and oversee
potential resident move-ins, addressing any clinical concerns.
- Provide medication assistance and delegation training at
community settings when applicable.
- Monitor and manage the potential for safe clinical practices to
avoid and eliminate risks and liability.
- Maintain current knowledge of state and local clinical
regulations.
- Assist other members of the Clinical Operations Team in quality
improvement programs and ensure compliance of clinical
programs.
- Conduct mock surveys and provide community assistance with
action planning and follow-up to achieve deficiency-free surveys
and meet clinical standards.
- Assist with attaining financial goals by ensuring clinical
department budgets are adhered to.
- Positively contribute to the culture, energy, and growth of the
company.
- Be a member of the home office emergency response team.
- Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene
per company policy.
- Have knowledge of, and special sensitivity to, the needs of the
aging.
- Perform other duties as assigned.JOB
SPECIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical leadership experience,
preferably in a regional or home office role.
- Must have an active nursing license, Registered Nurse (RN)
- Previous experience in senior living or healthcare
settings.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active nursing license to
practice in this state.
- Strong knowledge of clinical management, medication management,
and risk management.
- Proven ability to train and mentor clinical staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel frequently to various community
locations.
- Must maintain valid Continuing Education credits as required by
the State.
