Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a travel job in Angleton, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Special Procedures Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: \n Technician - Interventional Radiology \n\n Job Details: \n • Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with on-call responsibilities required \n• 13-week assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week \n• Must wear Galaxy Blue scrubs \n• Work with ultrasonographic units, fluoroscopic units, and CT equipment of various vendors \n• Use Electronic Health Record and PACS systems \n• Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds \n• Must be able to walk long distances and stand continuously for up to 240 minutes \n• May be exposed to occupational hazards including communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, hazardous medications, and disoriented or combative patients \n• Associate of Applied Science degree or graduate of an accredited Radiology Program required \n• 3 years of experience required \n• Required certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-VI or ARRT-CV, Texas Medical Board Certification (MRT), BLS (American Heart Association) \n• ACLS/PALS preferred but not required \n• Holiday rotation as needed \n• Virtual orientation and in-person training required \n\n Facility: \n This healthcare facility provides comprehensive radiology and interventional services with advanced imaging technology and equipment.
