Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Special Procedures Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Technician - Interventional Radiology /n/n Job Details: /n • Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with on-call responsibilities /n• Guaranteed 40 hours per week /n• 13-week assignment with ASAP start /n• Associate of Applied Science degree or Graduate of accredited Radiology Program required /n• 3 years of experience required /n• Required certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-VI or ARRT-CV, Texas Medical Board Certification (MRT), BLS /n• ACLS/PALS preferred but not required /n• Galaxy Blue scrubs required /n• Work with ultrasonographic units, fluoroscopic units, CT equipment, Electronic Health Records, and PACS /n• Must be able to push or pull minimum 50 pounds /n• Must be able to walk long distances and stand continuously for 240 minutes /n• Holiday rotation as needed /n• Orientation includes virtual HCSS orientation and in-person training at UTMB Galveston campus /n• Exposure to occupational hazards including communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, radiation, and hazardous medications /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility provides comprehensive interventional radiology services with state-of-the-art imaging technology from various vendors.
