Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience with administering and monitoring IV cardiac drips such as Diltiazem and Amiodarone Basic ECG rhythm interpretation Management of continuous BiPAP post cardiac catheterization/stent implant Description: This position involves providing care in a telemetry setting. The unit has a total of 22 beds and is staffed with nurses, patient care technicians, and clinical nurse coordinators. The typical patient ratio is 1:5 to 1:6, depending on patient needs. Staffing includes both day and night shifts with varying numbers of nurses and patient care technicians present. Key equipment used includes Welch Allyn Vital Signs Machines, Dash Bedside Monitors, telemetry systems, and BiPAP devices. Candidates should possess skills in acute cardiac care and acute stroke care, although these are preferred, not required.
