Job Description Job Description Job description Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant specializing in wound care to join our team. This is a full-time 5 days per week position. You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of assigned patients in the in-home, nursing home and assisted living settings. This position requires the NP/PA to travel in a designated area to perform wound care. Duties and Responsibilities: ? Manage wound care at skilled nursing and assisted living facilities ? Manage wound care in the in-home setting ? Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans ? Assess, monitor and report changes in patient symptoms ? Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding wound care ? Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities ? Maintain accurate patient medical records ? Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members Responsibilities: ? Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields ? Familiarity with medical software and equipment ? Ability to build rapport with patients ? Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills ? Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment ? Knowledge and experience of wound and ostomy care Education and Experience: ? Master of Science in Nursing/PA equivalent ? Must be Board Certified in TX (BOARD ELIGIBLE IS NOT ACCEPTED) ? Excellent customer service skills Full-time position available (Monday – Friday) Flexible work hours, NO night or weekend calls, great staff to work with! Potential bonus pay!
