Windows Systems Administrator
Description:
The Windows Systems Administrator provides support for the systems
with an emphasis on applying patches and upgrades, configuration,
testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure that the
servers are processing optimally. Communicate with other team
members for accomplishing tasks and projects. The ideal candidate
will at least have intermediate-advanced level Windows Server OS
experience within a large organization.
Requirements:
•5+ years of Windows Server 2003/2008 System Administration
experience, 3+ years of which are needed within an
environment with over 500 servers.
•Strong knowledge of Windows Servers OS installation,
configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
•Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare ESX.
•Other technical experience that would be a plus includes Citrix,
Linux, Unix,
•Excellent communication, prioritization, and customer service
skills are needed to be successful in this role.
