We are looking for an Applications Developer Senior that will provide development and technical support of ENGIE Salesforce platform, business applications, and integration initiatives.What you'll do:Develop customized solutions within the ENGIE Salesforce platform to support business functions, meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals.Manage daily support and maintenance of Salesforce instance and clients.Collaborate with project managers, clients and other developers to ensure effectiveness throughout all phases of development, testing, deployment and support.Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives, and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully.Interact directly with clients/end users and managers as necessary to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications and integrations with internal systems.Provide support of the Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects and workflow rules.Collaborate with various departments to ensure Salesforce environment supports internal needs relating to functionality and performance.Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of applications while adhering to standards developed the ENGIE Technical Architecture team.Carries out other duties as assignedWhat you bring:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field5 years minimum Information Technology development/support experienceStrong knowledge and experience in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project management and applicability of IT controls to development deliveries3-5 years of experience as a SFDC Developer with Sales Cloud and Service, including the use of data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, and Salesforce for Outlook)Preferred Salesforce certifications include: Administration, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II.Strong development experience with the following (Eclipse IDE, Apex, Visualforce, API, SOAP, Triggers, Lightning components, Process Builder, MySQL, and flow).Knowledge of various Web standards such as Javascript, HTTP protocols, CSS, AJAX, Flash and XML and JSON.Experience with Web Services, REST, XML and outbound messaging, also experience with integration/middleware tools (Informatica, Cast Iron, Boomi, Scribe)Knowledge of Salesforce limits and experience with development practices to conform, while ensuring optimum performance.Proficient in writing unit test that achieve near 100% test code coverage.Results-oriented and customer-focusedStrong time management, project management and team collaboration skills.Excellent oral and written communication skillsMust comply with all ENGIE policies and procedures.Keep up to date with the new Salesforce releases and suggest ways in using Salesforce best practices to improve the current processesAdditional Information/Conditions:Must be eligible to work for any U.S. employer without the need for sponsorship now or in the futureMust be willing and able to comply with ENGIE's policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testingMust be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policiesWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is not exposed to weather conditionsThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderateAbility to meet highest attendance requirementsAbility to communicate effectively, both written and verballyAbility to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracyAbility to use a personal computer, calculator, etc.Work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this jobReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with the needed assistance to perform the essential functionsEligible for a hybrid schedule consisting of in-office and work-from-home opportunitiesWhy ENGIE?ENGIE North America isn't just participating in the Zero-Carbon Transition, we're leading it!
