Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Coordinator provides comprehensive HR support to the
Willbanks staff in the areas of benefits and payroll
administration. The HR Coordinator will need to maintain
familiarity with the areas of recruiting, onboarding, HR policy
administration, and records management. This position is also
responsible for cultivating the core values thru employee
engagement and interaction.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resources Administration
Maintains Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records and
compiles reports from database as requested
Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all
company personnel; assist in development and implementation of
personnel policies and procedures
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning
employment.
Payroll Administration
Prepares and processes payroll and associated information,
including: staff inquires, research, resolution to errors, updating
records & processing routine changes, basic audit & reconciliation
during each pay cycle
Follows all processing procedures, adheres to policies, and
maintains confidentiality
Responsible for administration of attendance program and PTO
accruals.
Benefits Administration
Administers employee health and welfare plans and act as liaison
between employees and insurance providers, to resolve any employee
benefits-related issues
Monitors employee eligibility and process enrollments,
cancellations, or changes
Administratively responsible for all fiduciary filings regarding
benefits including 401(k) & company leave program, to include
FMLA.
Culture Ambassador
Model core values by leading by example and being the culture
ambassador for the company
Engage employees through company events and recognition
programs
Support company initiatives and be a champion for positive
results
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree in Business
Administration or similar preferred
3 years of Human Resources experience
2 - 3 years administering HRIS (Paylocity experience a plus) &
maintaining records and reporting
2 - 3 years in payroll & benefits administration
