Members.Warehouse Associate IThe team member in this position
checks trucks in and out using WMS and is responsible for the
quality and efficiency of the trailer loading/unloading to include
the pallet handling process. The team member will operate a
forklift or work with the LGV (Laser Guided Vehicle) and handling
system.
This includes checking outbound trailers prior to loading,
monitoring all LGV activity in the warehouse, following SOPs to
maintain inventory accuracy, prepping loads for cross country
shipments and customer requirements, while maintaining a clean, and
safe work environment.Essential FunctionsReceives all inbound
orders into WMS: spring water, resin, corrugated materials, film,
labels, UPS deliveries, Federal Express deliveries, water transfer
as neededRebuilds damaged pallets prior to restockProcesses RMA
sConsolidates finished goods storage for maximum storage
capabilitiesIdentifies, reports and observes quality issues with
finished goods and RMSValidates new SKU s in WMS to ensure proper
LGV storage and handlingCorrects LGV alarmsMonitors LoadsUnloads
finished goods and raw material deliveries utilizing a
forkliftMaintains pallet storage area; offloads pallets from
trailers and stage for LGV s to pick upCorrects product
spillsManually pulls pallets from production as neededSupplies
production with non-inventory items (glue, bags, labels etc.)Air
Bag LoadsClears up blocked locations in WMSMay be required to
operate a forklift when neededFacilitates the flow of information
between logistics, production and sales to ensure timely and
accurate service to customer baseTests and monitors resin and
spring waterCoordinates preload activities including inspecting
trailers to ensure all loads are completed on timeChecks in trucks
and communicates loading instructions to forklift driversProvides
correct loading document/bills of lading and truck seals upon
leaving the facilityMaintains appropriate records and reports
required for daily shipping and inventory controlInvolvement in
continued process improvement and cost reductionMaintains a clean,
orderly and safe warehouseRegular and predictable attendance is an
essential function of this jobAnswers/makes phone calls using
proper phone etiquetteCommunicates with inside and outside contacts
to ensure loading of trucks on time and troubleshoot any
issuesCoordinates with transportation and production/scheduling to
ensure all shipments are flowing in and out of warehouse as
