Estimator / Inside Sales Representative Altamira Material
Solutions is the industry leader in PTFE molding, paste extrusion,
plastics machining, and fabrication. We are looking for a motivated
and experienced Estimator / Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to
join our team. This is an onsite position at our offices located in
NW Houston inside the Northwest Industrial Center. Role and
ResponsibilitiesThe Estimator/Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is
responsible for managing and growing existing accounts while
pursuing new opportunities. Working collaboratively with various
teams, the Estimator/ISR handles account management, proactive
outreach, cross-selling, and providing product information,
pricing, and technical support. Key responsibilities
include:Building and maintaining strong customer
relationships.Introducing sealing solutions and polymer materials
to prospects and clients.Developing new customer opportunities with
Sales Management.Processing quotes, orders, and RFQs within the ERP
system.Conducting outbound communication to identify opportunities
and key decision-makers.Addressing product inquiries and
specifications.Utilizing Salesforce CRM to manage activities,
contacts, and opportunities.Following up on website inquiries and
leads.Assisting in pricing negotiations and deal
structuring.Supporting data analytics and updating commercial
reports.Other duties as assigned by managementJob
QualificationsBachelor's degree in business administration or a
related field highly desired2+ years of sales or customer service
experience, preferably in a similar industry requiredKnowledge of
B2B sales and selling techniques.Proficiency in developing and
managing quotes.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook) and CRM platforms like Salesforce.Strong communication,
analytical, and problem-solving skills.Self-starter with attention
to detail, multitasking ability, and a professional
demeanor.Positive attitude, integrity, and commitment to
excellence.Physical and Environmental RequirementsWork is typically
performed in an office environment with occasional exposure to the
manufacturing shop floor and travel to customer locationsPHYSICAL
ACTIVITIES, while performing the functions of this job, the
employee is:Continually required to stand or walk; use hands to
finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.Regularly required to
reach with hands and arms.Continually required to sit. Occasionally
