Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Houston, TX Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,246 to $1,440 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Travel- RN- PICU City/State: Houston, Texas Shift: 7:00PM-7:00AM, Nights Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 02/23/2026 Job Description: Data Collection and patient care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) during night shifts. The unit has 14-22 beds with staff numbers dependent on acuity and census. The role requires providing dedicated care in a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities: Caring for patients within the PICU setting including cleft palate repair, appy, chest tube management, and lumbar punctures. Managing seizures and noninvasive cardiology cases. Collaborating with neuro, ortho, gen surg, and thoracic cases such as thoracotomy/thoracoscopy and pectus bar implants. Requirements: BLS and PALS certifications required. Experience with Meditech EMR system. Preferred qualifications include ACLS certification. Ability to float to NICU Level 1 or 2 if needed.
